Hi Web Team:
I just noticed that the bug emails and the pearweb login link both
direct users to the http site. This was silly back in the day. Now
that PHP went through a compromise problem and has moved to https, our
not doing so is problematic.
I was putting together a patch and noticed that some things use the
PEAR_CHANNELNAME constant. Is the bugs portion of the website really
being used by multiple parties?
Should I add another setting constant of whether to use https/http
and/or base it on DEVBOX, or do folks here have a better idea? Or
better yet, does someone here with more knowledge of the system have
a moment to fix this, please, so I can work on the other community
projects already on my plate?
I see there's a test suite. I'll adjust them as needed.
Anything else I should look out for?
Please cc me.
Thanks,
--Dan
