As you wrote in a later mail, it seems not to be available now :) but i'd
be happy, to have a look at it and if it does, what i was intended to do,
even better :) i just know, that there's a Function_Cache Class in the
actual PEAR, but as i understood it, it does something different, than i
did.  My class caches the output (the html pages, not the compiled code,
see the link in my original post for further details), but maybe i didn't
get something right. Or this class you mentioned is really something
different than what i saw (which is well possible according to your later
mail)

yep, i know. you have to download it at the moment and examine it
locally. the .phps stuff will come tomorrow in the later morning (CET) as
our webserver is not configured for that at the moment...

but anyway, thanks for your input.
