Yes, Auth depends on Session. But (I'm not very familiar with
CPAN, but I think it is) is it true that on CPAN you find
a lot of modules which depend on other modules, isn't it?

Let's say I'm building a package foo which uses a database
for storing the data it handles with -- so it depends on
PEAR:DB. Following your argumentation, the package foo shouldn't
be in PEAR because it depends on the package DB?

Cache also defines a lot of how I'm building
my application.
