I don't think we will ever get to the point where some of us are
"blessing" PEAR code, especially when we move stuff out of the PHP
distribution.  What I do think is that future PHP releases will
include PEAR packages, and that someone from the PHP Group/QA team
will "bless" these.  This works well for Perl.
