That is irrelevant. Anyway, let's finish this discussion. You haven't realized what I wanted to say: subclassing is PHPLIB's nature. Giving runtime parameters to DB_Sql is also possible. But that wasn't the point when the discussion began. The point was that PHPLIB's DB abstraction is twice faster as PEAR:DB and that I only wanted you to think about those speed difference.
