How long do we want to wait?

We have been waiting for a release since 19 Mar, and any response from 
Omar since 4 Jul.

The most important part for me is that we need a release.

The lack of 8.1 support is starting to hurt me financially because some 
of my clients can't run code I've written on their php8.1 infrastructure.
