new package request: opentelemetry

Hi list,
Both I and my colleague, Przemek Delewski, have submitted applications for pecl accounts to create and maintain a new PHP extension from https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-php-instrumentation.
I lied on my application and said I'd already discussed it here. We have the package installable via pickle, but would also like pecl support so that it can reach a wider audience.
