I have to check what's the easiest way to do it but for what I
remember simply update the rest update script should do it, with the
use of the status flags.

As of per php version behavior, we don't support php version prior to
5.2. For working package they can do it using the package
dependencies. For filter, it will follow the same way than PDO.
