Hello, My name is Esen Sagynov. I am a manager and developer at CUBRID, an open source database management system highly optimized for Web applications (http://www.cubrid.org). As a matter of fact, we have developed PHP API for both PHP 5.2.x and 5.3.x versions to connect to CUBRID DBMS. 1. Downloads: A. PHP API for CUBRID page at our CUBRID Community Site contains both links to download PHP Extension for CUBRID and its source code from Sourceforge.net SVN for both Linux and Windows platforms. 2. Manual & Full Documentation: A. PHP API Manual <http://www.cubrid.org/manual/> contains very detailed explanation of each PHP functions implemented in the Library. This link will redirect you to CUBRID Manual. Navigate to API Reference and select PHP API. 3. Tutorials: A. We have written a very comprehensive and at the same time easy-to-understand PHP Tutorial <http://wiki.cubrid.org/index.php/PHP_Tutorial> on our CUBRID Wiki site. There we provide several links to main PHP.net Documentation to guide users how to quickly install and configure PHP. So, these are the resources CUBRID users refer to when developing PHP applications. Currently, well-known web apps like Wordpress, phpBB, fluxBB, SQL Buddy, phpMyEdit, etc. have already been ported by our community contributors. Some featured web apps and tools are listed on our CUBRID Apps&Tools <http://www.cubrid.org/apps_and_tools> page. As a result on behalf of CUBRID I would like to apply for PECL account and submit PHP extension for CUBRID DBMS. If there is anything else we should take care of before moving further, please guide us. We will do our best to comply with PHP Conventions. Sincerely, Esen Sagynov. CUBRID Co., Ltd.
