Hi Pierre,

PHP Extension is licensed under BSD License. The logic is this: CUBRID
DBMS follows GPL v2.0 and later, while all APIs and client tools are
under BSD. We decide on this licensing policy to give freedom for
application developers to build their programs based on CUBRID without
the need to open their source code.

Until now we've been maintaining the code in our CUBRID sf.net
repository (http://sourceforge.net/projects/cubrid/). For integrity
purpose we would like to keep the project on sf.net as our library
developers are bound to that repository.

Concerning the documentation, you are talking about pecldoc
(http://wiki.php.net/doc/howto/pecldocs), right?

If there is anything else, please let me know.

Esen.

Extension for CUBRID Database

hi Esen,

Some questions:

- What's the license of the PHP extension?

- Where do you plan to maintain it? In sf.net or in svn.php.net

repository (recommended)?

It is also recommended to push the documentation in the PHP manual
(phpdoc)

Cheers,
