Hello again Pierre and other PHP PECL team members, I have replied to your previous mail, however haven't receive your message. So I wondered whether my mail reached you. Below you can see the contents of my previous mail related to PHP Library's license and the source code repository. There is one more thing I would like to add. We have decided to move CUBRID PHP Library's source code to svn.php.net. We came to conclusion that it is much better to keep PHP related development together with main PHP, within its own environment. If we really need, then we can always mirror the changes. So once we receive the response from PECL team, we would like to proceed with the code transfer and organizing the documentation for inclusion. Please let me know your thoughts about CUBRID PHP API. We are open for your advice! Sincerely, Esen. The logic is this: CUBRID DBMS follows GPL v2.0 and later, while all APIs and client tools are under BSD. We decide on this licensing policy to give freedom for application developers to build their programs based on CUBRID without the need to open their source code. Until now we've been maintaining the code in our CUBRID sf.net repository (http://sourceforge.net/projects/cubrid/). For integrity purpose we would like to keep the project on sf.net as our library developers are bound to that repository. Concerning the documentation, you are talking about pecldoc (http://wiki.php.net/doc/howto/pecldocs), right? If there is anything else, please let me know. In sf.net or in svn.php.net repository (recommended)? It is also recommended to push the documentation in the PHP manual (phpdoc) Cheers, On Wed, Jun 30, 2010 at 8:50 AM, Esen Sagynov <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello, > > > > My name is Esen Sagynov.
