Hi. I was wondering why aren't the bytekit and the suhosin extension available through pecl. I couldn't find any information about this issue in the archives (the only mention about suhosin that Stefan was proposing to add suhosin to the pecl repository, but it didn't happen). I'm pretty sure that he ain't gonna add his extensions to the pecl, if he didn't do it in the past years. Are there any moral, legal(suhosin licensed under the PHP license, bytekit under the bytekit license which is the same as the PHP license, except that the word PHP is replaced with bytekit) or technical objection against adding this two extension to the pecl repository? Can we do this without Stefan's explicit request? Can somebody maintain a pecl package which is written by somebody else? ps: For the record, I hate that I can't install everything from my distribution's package repository or through pecl. :( Tyrael
