apc 3.1.4 beta for windows

Hi!

I compiled apc version 3.1.4 beta with VC6. This version doesn't have VC 
project file so I used project file from previous beta version, fixed it 
and compiled. When I set it on my WampServer results were far from those 
I expected. So I have two questions:

Does beta version contains debugging stuff that make it slower?
What are best settings for Apache on Windows, except from the memory size?
