yes, that is a problem regarding cache_serials.

that should not be a problem.

You could try to stick the _cache_serial to something shared between
the servers, like this:

So that all servers compile the same templates with the same cache_serials.

I'm not 100% sure if this has any negative side-effects, but i cannot
think of any.
