But the idea is that templates aren't supposed to be powerful.  They're
supposed to be quite dumb, so that anyone could understand them with no
more than 5 minutes of learning if he's not a programmer guy, and with no
learning at all if he is.  If they become powerful, it almost immediately
means they become complex, which defeats their very purpose.
