Hi.

This is a very interesteing discussion. I'm currently writing a template 
system, with looks a bit like fasttemplate but does not use any code of it.

What I want to do is a complete template system 100% coming from the 
database, and which supports any langage. This is quite a complex task, but 
it's working nicely now. FastTemplate is good, but very limited.

If you are interested in how it works, I can detail everything (but not 
share code because I do it for my company) here.
