But there is a huge difference between IPTC and EXIF. IPTC is basically
just file info annotations supported by Photoshop and probably some other
image manipulation programs. EXIF is the digital camera annotation format
which consists of hundreds of special tags used by various camera
manufacturers to store information about the picture.
I realize there is some overlap, but it seems easier to separate iptc and
exif instead of trying to do everything at once.
