Steve, Many, many thanks! I had no idea where to look for that, and never would've guessed it. XML DOM support is now compiled in and (allegedly) functional, all I have to do now is start fighting with it... One more quickie for the list... --with-pdflib=/usr/local fails at the configure line: ... checking for PDF_show_boxed in -lpdf... no ... even though I just compiled pdflib 3.0, installed it to /usr/local, and earlier in the configure script it says 'yes' to the 'checking whether to include Pdflib 3.x support...' line. Any ideas?
