Having said that I think we can rely on Twitter being up. We.can also cache
the tweets and will only update the cache on successful connect. That way we
always have tweets to show

   I'm personally against aggregating news from external sources like
this.  It's going to really open up a can of worms for us.  We already
get requests from folks to be placed on the links page (usually SPAM
or morons, being perfectly blunt).... I can just imagine how much that
will increase if we use something like a news source.  Plus, that
would indicate - even if we explicitly state contrarily - that we
endorse the site from which we're pulling and displaying the news.

   That said, the rest of the list looks good, just like the rest of
