Thanks everyone! We're getting close. I tried to merge the feedback and this is what I'm hearing:

Downloads
- Add a 'download' heading
- List 5.3.5 and 5.2.17 with 'source' and 'windows binaries' links for each.

There are lots of other good ideas too (new docs, new features, little known features, scrolling events, top/recent pecl/pear packages, user groups, float bug, twitter feed). To work these in we would need to either: swap out something above, make the grid bigger, or make the grid dynamic (e.g. randomly show different info). Personally, I could see swapping 'documentation' out of the 2x2 grid for something else. Maybe a pecl/pear tie in?

In any case, I've got enough here to move forward. If you want to push things in a different direction, now is the time.
