don't forget people.php.net which i have no idea why it's even still up :-)

+1 on this idea Daniel, i think it's important to let people know
about the other parts of PHP apart from just the manual.

Surprisingly a lot of people i speak to think the PHP website is just
about downloading and looking up the manual and now distros with
package managers are taking care of the downloading aspect now for the
people who don't want to compile their own source so it's really just
manual lookup. Also IDE's are taking care of the Intellisense
auto-complete functionality for API so people use the manual less and
less.

All the different parts of the PHP network need to be summarised and
displayed on the PHP.net homepage to keep the fire burning.
