I downloaded PHP <http://www.php.net/get/php-5.2.6-win32-installer.msi/from/a/mirror> 5.2.6 installer [19,373Kb] - 6 May 2008 and ran it. On trying to run my Apache/PHP I get an error Apache/httpd.conf Syntax error on line 1034, invalid command PHPinidir This prevents Apache from running. Unistalling and reverting to PHP 4 now causes my setup to not run PHP in the browser. May I suggest that it could be for your users helpful to execute the following step: DO NOT install PHP 5 or use the installer on your website. It may be helpful if you removed the following from your website : Apache PHP All installers. I will now have to spend some considerable time sorting out the mess you have caused.
