Problems with using your scripts

I have installed the PHP 5.2.6 package and made all necessary changes to my config files.  When I run my info.php script, it comes up perfectly.  However, when I try to use any scripts found online, even the ones on your site, I just get a blank screen.  Are your scripts compatable with 5.2.6?  I am getting the scripts from your examples in your manual pages.  They say that they're compatable with PHP version 5.  Were changes made to version 5.2.6 that might make them not work?  If not, where can I find information on making them work?
