The concepts of Social Networking, Online Communities and social
networking portals are a rage over the Internet in the present times.

Here, at JeetegaKaun, we built a skeleton proprietary model of such a
portal last year using PHP/MySQL as the development platform. Then, we
evolved it some more and finally brought it online, in October 2007.

Since then, we have been growing and evolving it further, adding some
features here, some new offering there and so on and even if we say so
ourselves, our efforts have been satisfactorily rewarded by the online
community for whom we built this portal.

The complete architecture of JeetegaKaun is based on PHP and MySQL,
with some smatterings of JavaScript and AJAX.

We’ve found that nowadays, many programmers and entrepreneurs –
from beginners to reasonably experienced ones and those in-between –
are keenly interested in understanding this social networking thing,
both conceptually as well as technically.
