BBEdit?

Ok, I give up.. nothing on your site..

I am trying to edit a site using BBEdit.. Proof it locally and then  
simply upload.

The pages are .php. Ok, but where to from here - all I get is errors..

Are there resources for those, like me, who want to use a simple text  
editor to edit an existing site?????????
