Just as an information

libxml2-2.6.0 was released a few hours ago with a massive improvements 
and enhancements list, see http://xmlsoft.org/news.html for the details.

The most important in the short term for us is maybe:

*  should be API and ABI compatible but got a lot of change

Some short tests showed no problems, it at least compiled and "make 
test" worked as well (PHP5 and PHP4)
