Like I said, I have no idea. The whole point of XML is that it's 
supposed to work regardless of platform and language because it's just 
text. If you're having these types of problems it's impossible to debug 
without a specific example and error message. If you cannot provide 
these, I don't think anyone will be able to meaningfully help you 
because it's as much a mystery to us and it is to you.

Maybe there's a bug in the ActiveX XML acceptance code. Try looking 
away from PHP doing something odd and looking towards some weird 
Microsoft problem. That's the best I can do.
