thanx for your very fast reply ! :)
i too guess, that providing the 2.6 with with the win-binaries could
solve the problem, because we're just afraid, that our users will use
the windows-binaries. This would make our app (and i think others too !)
unusable for them. I don't know your download-statistics, but I'd bet,
that a lot is downloading the binaries and they all wouldn't be able to
use any application that is using SAX with namespaces. If you'd take a
look at the w3c.org web-page you could see the growing semantic-web
community . Sure, if they all compile php by themselfs there shouldn't
be a problem.

Could you maybe ask rob about a rethinking of the libxml 2.5.11 decision
? I think, he guessed, that no one used this feature :)
