If you think it's a bug the best thing to do is to post it as a bug on
the bug system. The mailing list is not a good way to get the
developers to fix your bug. The bug system is very simple. You should
learn how to use it.

Here's what you do. Create a very simple test case. (Write a short
script.) List what output you expect and what output you actually
get. Explain why you think the output is wrong.

Be very clear. The less lines of code the better.
