That was part of my plan. I want to focus on the 'infrastructure' type things like the Google Groups, Twitter, Facebook page, etc, just trying to get people to join. Making it all available will hopefully help me find more members. I know when I started doing PHP I had one person get me interested, but had a bear of a time finding other people since there wasn't anything local. I'm hoping that it's not just a few of us who do PHP around here and that there are people out there with no way to connect. What's the best way to contact companies and try to get members? While I'm sure a physical letter wouldn't hurt, I wouldn't want people to think I'm stalking them when all of a sudden they get an e-mail from me. Just peruse the social network sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, and such? Meeting places will be somewhat interesting. Once we get enough people to start having informal meetings we can just meet at a local bar, but you are right Bradley, I'll need to get some people first. *crosses fingers*
