Greetings from Kansas City!

Greetings fellow UG Admins and Leaders -

I'm taking a cue from Cal to introduce myself to the group.  My name is Dan
Holmes and I've been Kansas City's PHP User Group "Organizer" for probably
the last 10 years or so.  In that time I have watched our group change from
when I did presentations nearly every month for years, to the more
round-table, coffee talk hangout it is today.

I have always tried to visualize the group as it's own entity, belonging to
the members, without a formal leader.  I've even introduced myself as more
the "site curator" or "guy who kicks off the meetings."  Recently however,
I've been getting more and more inspired to take a more active leadership
role and really help grow the group again.

I believe Kansas City has an active PHP developer base, and I look
forwarded to playing a part it making it visible to those who are looking
for it.

I'll likely be a bit of a lurker for a while until I learn enough to be
useful around here.  However, I'm very excited to learn that such a list
even exists.
