Introductions...

Thanks to Cal's podcast (and Lig doing something about it) I'm here now too!
I am the founder of the Charlottesville (Virginia) Area PHP Users'
Group (CHOPUG.)

We meet on the third Tuesday of each month. We've got started back in
March when I finally said, "OK, we're having a meeting *this* month.
Come hell or high water."

Most of our meetings so far (including tonight's, 3 of 4) have been
round-table/meet-n-greet/shop-talk style. I gave our one and only (so
far) presentation (on Image Manipulation w/ GD2 and WideImage) as a
warm-up for doing it as an UnCon for php|tek.

We'll be doing more presentations as time goes on, I know one of our
members has sort of volunteered. I'll probably ask tonight if he'll do
a presentation for July.
