Congrats on the new group, Cal.  LKPUG would be happy to help out in any
way that we can.

As I read the description of what you're trying to attempt, it occurs to me
that you should definitely reach out to Elizabeth Smith.  I know she lives
in a "user group wasteland", and if part of the goal is to help people
build their knowledge, who better to talk about that than the founder of
PHPMentoring.org?
