+1, great idea. I'll suggest it to our local leaders. In general, our beginning is always a little rough. There are some general announcements and information about the group as a whole and then they hand it to me to do the upcoming events announcements. I specifically try to cover tech/code-focused events regardless of community.. and occasionally throw in Dallas or Houston events as appropriate/relevant.
