Hey Luka,

As I've been talking to many UG organisers at ZendCon past week, I am really thinking about doing an European PHP-UG tour. I already kicked it off by visiting PHPDublin and PHP-Belfast last month and I'm now scheduling a South European tour with the folks over at PHPLX, PHPMad and PHPAlicante for beginning of 2014. I have no objections to visit the rest of Europe in the remaining months of 2014.

When organising such an exchange between UG's, the challenge is to unite several user groups to find a sponsor who will take care of travel expenses for the speaker. In Dublin and Belfast 2 companies picked up my expenses and were broadly honoured when I was giving my workshop.

Do you think this is feasible? As long as travel expenses are covered, you should have no problem finding anyone from any user group to come over and give a talk or a workshop.

I'd love to share some ideas on this as I believe it adds additional value to everyone to exchange speakers.
