Everything mentioned thus far in the thread has been positive and I concur that a more formal relationship between PHP.net and PHP UG would be welcomed. I like Rich's addition for trying to also bring additional awareness to joind.in. I think it'd be a great addition to joind.in for maintaining speaker bios and we could pull in speaker bios/info from there. I'll admit I've been a bit lax on putting up my local meetup presentations on there these passed few years, so this would be a good kick in the pants. I think a great starter would be to create a github organization for PHPUG and follow up by inviting this mailing list at large so we can collaborate on projects. If need be, we could pool funds via WePay or equivalent to support a paid github account for private repositories. A bronze plan runs $25/mo for 10 private repos. I just created the github organization PHPUG and started an open Google Spreadsheet for everybody to enter their [email protected] email address, name, joind.in url, github username, and contact information. If there's already something like this out there, someone please chime in to share it. If not, here's the URL to enter your information. I'll get you added to the github organization with full privileges. If you feel the list is missing any useful information, please feel free to add. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgVd5qYyeP8_dEtqRlNJWXN1QkpfUWttcmZ3TEpfcEE&usp=sharing Corey Ballou http://coreyballou.co @cballou On 12/5/13 7:20 AM, Rich Sage wrote: > I'm definitely up for this.
