As you can all imagine, I just had to handle damage control on github. Here's my response for you Ben, I'm in the process of trying to remedy Github by removing organizational teams so notifications stop. /Andreas is adding members from the document directly to http://github.com/php-ug to help with the existing http://php.ug site. As to avoid confusion, I've spun the PHPLeaders group as one which active PHP community leaders are members. The membership is not restricted to UG organizers, but is open to figures in the community that have been noticed as going out of their way to promote PHP. The purpose of the PHPLeaders group itself is to strengthen the ties among thought leaders and bring awareness to web-facing PHP community projects and initiatives. The goal is to increase participation/contributions to projects and issues deemed notable by leaders which would most greatly have a positive impact on the PHP community. Andreas' PHP.ug website is on the list as a notable project that needs help and for users to step in, for instance, so it's forked within the PHPLeaders organization for visibility. / Hopefully this makes sense to everyone and hasn't degraded the ideation process going on in this thread. It's really a collaborative effort and I felt the need to Corey Ballou http://coreyballou.co @cballou On 12/5/13 12:11 PM, Ben Ramsey wrote: > On Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 8:52 AM, Corey Ballou wrote: >> Works for me Andreas :) I've renamed the group accordingly to PHPLeaders >> as it's a more accurate representation of the group.
