I think what @ramsey mentioned earlier has been lost in all the meetoo's
and meetup.com vs joind.in debate:

What is the point of all these forks in the PHPLeaders org?

If it's to promote awareness of those PHP projects, I think you may be
doing it wrong. Good intent, sir, as with the addition of those other
luminaries, but maybe not the best execution.

I just did a spring cleaning of my own Github acct and realized that
forking repos isn't necessarily the best way to promote a repo. It just
creates noise by having a potentially outdated fork sitting unattended in
an account or org. Unles I'm actively contributing to a repo that someone
else owns, I do not fork it. Unless there are contributions being made by
this org to, say, PHP-FIG, there's practically no reason to have a fork of
their work.

Lemme say, I'm super-excited about the energy in this conversation and very
honored to be on the invite list. Let's just take some Baby Steps. Good
work, Team PHP...!
