My only minor concern with dropping www.php.net/cal.php is that there are
non-UG events listed there - primarily conferences. I know there are plenty
of existing sources for those sort of dates, but surely if php.net is
supporting UGs, they should also be supporting the many community-run
conferences?

Some people use cal.php as a resource (perhaps amongst others) to plan
visits to other locations, to find UGs and conferences, and other types of
PHP-related meetups.

What do others think?
