That's a great idea Rafael (to use Joind.in's API).

So far from what I have seen the consensus is that Joind.in's forte is
conferences (although there is scope/ideas to add more UG stuff in), and
php.ug's forte is listing the UGs (and from what you have said Andreas, you
have ideas about adding more conf stuff in). I think perhaps the focus
should remain on Joind.in = confs, PHP.ug = UGs. Makes sense, no?

My vote would also be to create a new cal.php that simply aggregates the UG
feed from php.ug and the event feed from Joind.in. That solves the maint
problem of adding events from submissions.
