Hi Joshua, As I mentioned to James, we cannot provide travel or accommodation compensation, and we'll add this info to the CFP page. Concerning 20 minute talks, when we started WebCamp 2 years ago, this was an experiment. And as it turns out we have had very good reactions both from speakers and the audience. Last year we had a questionnaire for both attendees and speakers, and a big majority stated that they like the shorter talks. It forces speakers to be concise and to the point, which provided some very focused and interesting talks. We recognise that 20 minutes is not enough for all subjects, but since the conference still has only on 2 tracks, we like to give a wider range of speakers opportunity to speak. This may change if we grow to more tracks next year (again, this depends on the financial situation). Oh, did I mention we're looking for sponsors? :-) http://2014.webcampzg.org/sponsors/#content Regards, Ivan On 8 June 2014 11:27, Joshua Thijssen <[email protected]> wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Hi Ivan, > > Awesome to see more and more PHP/web activity in south-east europe!
