In AmsterdamPHP we have also rolled out a raffler since our first month's
its also on github: https://github.com/AmsterdamPHP/meetup-raffle-machine
Its meetup only unlike yours, and it has broken in all the ways possible,
and even become our running joke :P but i swear its now stable :P

So here is some info.

Its purely based on meetup and uses a custom checkin system, since meetup
dropped their own checkin system.
Basically we list all RSVP's, then people who are in the rom click on their
pictures to "check-in" this reduces the amount of people who RSVP'd and
were no-shows that were raffled.
It also has a wheel of fortune script that gives us a few seconds of
tension and animation before announcing the winner.
All randomness is retrieved from random.org btw.

Feel free to use it, its built on top on my own meetup api client, which
can always use more love and users :P
We do have plans to try and make it less branded and allow more people to
use it out of the box.
