Hi everyone.

After a brief discussion on twitter I've set up a slack-team for
PHP-Usergroups. You can reach this team at https://phpug.slack.com .

As the team requires an invitation I've setup a site where everyone
interested can request an invitation. You can reach that site via
http://murmuring-forest-7062.herokuapp.com/ (Yes, there might be better
names, but it's a start).

Both links are - of course - available via the footer on http://php.ug .

Once logged in you can create a channel for your usergroup and start
inviting and chatting.

This is NOT intended to replace any existing commnuication-channels but
to be a service to improve the communication between your
usergroup-members. And it might even improve the communication between
different usergroups. You do not HAVE to use it ;)

To ease the integration into your current chat-applications I've opened
the Jabber- and IRC-gateways. You can find the information to access
those (after login) at https://phpug.slack.com/account/gateways .

I've also added two new contact-ways on php.ug to easiely integrate a
current slack-team or a phpug-channel into the contacts of your group on
http://php.ug.

I'm sure there is room for improvements, so feel free to ping me either
via the list, IRC, PM or open an issue at
https://github.com/php-ug/php.ug/issues or whatever way you prefer ;)

Thanks for your input and have a nice weekend!

Andreas
