Once again, the php[tek] call for proposals is out, and we’d appreciate spreading word to your members so we get a diverse pool of potential speakers. As usual, we have a robust speaker package, including travel and hotel. We’re looking for topics that cover the range of PHP usage, including related technologies, techniques, and concepts in a variety of lengths and formats. We also prefer talks that haven’t been given everywhere else, since we have a number of attendees who also attend regional conferences. This makes Tek an excellent opportunity for someone to get into speaking. As usual, two or more submissions per speaker are strongly encouraged.

The CfP is open until January 16. We usually get quite a number of proposals, so not waiting until the last day helps those of us tasked with reading them all out. :)

See the CfP here:

and information about the conference here:

We also look for article topics and authors among submissions for php[architect] magazine, and we’ll announce the schedule before Early Bird pricing ends, so you won’t miss out on lower pricing if you’re declined. As usual, all submissions are subject to our Code of Conduct, available on the CfP page.

Thanks, and hope to see you in St. Louis this May 23-27!
