+1. Together with a collegue I'm planning a conference for the Belgian / Dutch PHP developers too, probably around early 2009. Pretty much all info is helpful here, there's a lot to be concidered when planning such an event. We're not very far in the planning stage yet, so expect more updates/questions/hints later on :-) Some things that are definitely interesting are for example: - how to approach possible sponsors - what can be done wrt advertising / marketing / community awareness - what's common wrt expenses for (international) speakers? - pricing strategies (early bird, discounts, ..) - checklists for expenses (beamers, wifi, tagchains, goodie bags, catering, ...)
