Die Meldung könnte sogar direkt aus der install.sh kommen.

Gibt es /tmp/install.log?

Passt der Zeitstempel zum phpmyadmin100 Installationsversuch? Weist der 
Inhalt auf phpmyadmin100 hin?

Wenn nein, nochmal einen Installationsversuch machen und nach dieser Datei 
schauen und hier posten.
