Hallo Spezis,

das entpacken und packen der 2.6.24-28-xen-initrd führt zu einem kernel-panic, wenn man mit
dieser neuen initrd bootet. Warum? (Zweck, ich möchte später in der initrd Dinge ändern/hinzufügen)

Meine Vorgehensweise:

mkdir 24-28
cd 24-28
cp -a /boot/initrd-2.6.24-28-xen.gz .
gzip -d initrd-2.6.24-28-xen.gz
cpio -i initrd-2.6.24-28-xen
cpio: lib/modules/2.6.24-28-xen/kernel/drivers/block/loop.ko not created: newer or same age
version exists
24945 blocks
rm initrd-2.6.24-28-xen
find . | cpio -oc /tmp/initrd-2.6.24-28-xen
gzip /tmp/initrd-2.6.24-28-xen
mv /boot/initrd-2.6.24-28-xen.gz /boot/backup-initrd-2.6.24-28-xen.gz
mv /tmp/initrd-2.6.24-28-xen.gz /boot/

boot einer domu:

Danke im Voraus,
