halt schaltet Xen nicht aus

Hi,
nachdem ich nun auf eine P2B-DS (2 * 1GHz, 768MB Ram) einen Xen
installiert habe, habe ich festgestellt, das ein halt nicht nur zum
Halten des Systems, nicht aber zum Power off führt. Ein Test mit einer
Windows Live CD zeigt aber, daß das grundsätzlich möglich ist. 
Kann mir jemand verraten, woran das Verhalten liegen kann?
