OPT_DSLTOOL ohne OPT_PPPOE?

Hallo,

in der Doku kommts nicht richtig raus: kann ich DSLTOOL auch einsetzen, 
wenn der Fli als reiner Netzwerkrouter läuft, also kein DSL/PPPOE nutzt?
Version des Routers ist 3.10.9
