Could you grab an iwmon pcap of this? Here you can see how the security level is determined, and its quite basic: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/network/wireless/iwd.git/tree/src/common.c#n89 With an iwmon pcap we could see the exact bytes of the RSNE and see why IWD is categorizing it this way.
